Welcome to Retro Football Management, the game that breathes new life into classic football seasons. This simple, fun and free football manager game allows you to take control of the greatest club sides from history and complete a game in less time than it takes to finish your daily commute. We are adding new seasons every month to the game, which currently includes 40 seasons from 8 countries across 5 decades, with the European Cup and Champions League. Pick the era when you fell in love with football and manage the legends of your youth. Turn an average Coventry team into European Champions, sell the players you never liked and buy the ones you did. Unlike other Management games, your clubs past mediocrity will not stop you signing the world’s best players - assuming you have the money of course! As you play the game you will earn points for hitting various challenges, like winning 3 matches in a row or being top of the league after 10 games. Points can be exchanged for squad enhancements in the shop that will help take your team from also-rans to champions; spend them wisely to help make your club the greatest in the world. Points can also be used to unlock extra classic seasons like the 1988/1989 Italian with European Cup. The app will always be free to download and contains in-app purchases if you want to enhance your team more quickly but does not require you to spend money in order to win. It’s designed to be a fair test of your gaming skill and football knowledge; you against the computer, just like it used to be. You will start with a small squad that always is in need of some work to sell players to generate cash and then buy better ones for less; your transfer aptitude will go a long way to determining your success. The club’s board will set you season-long objectives, hit them and get rewarded with cash and stadium expansions, but if you miss them you will be fired – classic game over! You can play 5 different games at the same time, so you can build world-class sides from 5 different decades—Pele to United in the 1960s, Leeds sign Cruyff in 1973, Spurs sign Maradona to play with Gascoigne in 1988—whoever your team is, Retro Football Management gives you the chance to pack your squad with legends and dominate world football. Few suggestions bugs

Loving the blast from the past with this game. Have noticed a bug though. First season works fine. Second season whenever I finish a game the game freezes on “Checking Ads Quota” so I have to close and reopen which means I can’t boost transfer funds. Suggestions - in match player ratings. Add a little more to the tactics even if it’s just a basic playing style eg direct, short passing, long ball etc.

I think the game would be so much more fun if you guys added a bit more to the tactics. Not that it’s buggy or whatever but for some reason whenever a team uses 4-5-1 their one striker just ends up scoring every game. I used Bergkamp with Ajax as a lone ST and he had over 300 Goals and assists in about 200 games. I think being able to choose a formation and having roles for players would make the game a lot better so that it’s more fair when playing teams with 1 striker because as of right now it’s a guaranteed 2 goals scored against you.

This is a great game, anybody thinking about getting it absolutely should. However, I have three things that I think would be great additions to the game, if possible.1. More seasons for Portugal: Portugal is a huge league, one of the best in the world. However, there is only one starting season available for the Portuguese league. I think adding a few more would be awesome!2. Promotion/Relegation: Promotion and Relegation is an important aspect of many leagues around the world. If it was in this game, it’d be so cool!3. Europa League/UEFA Cup: This game already has the Champions League/European Cup. I think adding the secondary European competition would enhance it even more!

Great feedback, thank you. The new game RFM 2024 is nearly ready. That has 3+ divisions in our first 5 countries. Portugal will be included in the next release later in the year. Scotland and the Netherlands are also in phase 2. Phase 1 is England, Spain, Italy, Germany and France. We have also added a domestic cup and 2 new European competitions. regards Coast

After first season stamina bug

Great games works fine in the first season, however in season 2 and beyond my players with 100 stamina who I can play every week in the first season start degrading fitness. Stamina stat is still 100 but they lose fitness each game they play. Annoying because my recruitment strategy revolves around recruiting high stamina players.
