Lachit Assamese is a keyboard app with which Assamese texts can be written natively on both iPhone as well as on iPad. It is the first of its kind developed for the Assamese language. The keyboard layout is so designed that the most frequently used letters are placed conveniently on the keypad. This will enhance the efficiency in typing. Its dictionary contains more than 130000 words. With this new and novel keypad one can type Assamese anywhere like in Notes, Email, Facebook etc. This keyboard is jointly designed and developed by Amarjyoti Deka and Mridul Kumar Sharmah.
