An app for the world's hidden gems. Pao (say “pow”) is an app that helps you find and share the world’s hidden gems. From rooftop bars, to beaches, art galleries, cafes, hikes, and concert venues, Pao shows you the coolest gems uploaded by other Pao users, and then helps you go experience them yourself. Share your own favorite gems, discover new favorite fems, and connect with other doers - not nameless reviewers! Here at Pao we think its getting way too easy to stay inside and experience life through a screen…and its only going to get easier. Pao is a technological tool that flips the switch. Instead of sucking you in, it empowers you to go outside and connect with the real world. The most amazing things happen when you get off the couch. Pao means “go” in Greek and thats exactly what it helps you do! You ready? Let’s go!

All exploring is just one app away now that there’s Pao!! This is so great for anyone who travels and likes to do more than just go to the local chili’s. Business trips and vacations just got a whole lot better! I love that I can just search a city and see all the cool spots that people have come together to include on this app and a lot are hidden gems so you can easily just grab cool points by knowing a local spot even before a local may even know it! Such a fun and exciting app - all the spots on it are fantastic I’ve already tried a few and I was not disappointed. So if you’re not traveling and just trying to find a way to enjoy your city more this app can definitely help you do that! Just search your city and scroll through it’s so easy!

This app has quickly become one of my favorites. There are so many cool places on here uploaded by users around the world. The best part is that it’s really hard to find such hidden and adventurous places on other travel websites, but the places on Pao are truly the best our planet has to offer. It’s the first place I look to find inspiration for food, hikes, and other destinations whenever I’m going somewhere new. I have found so many hidden gems that I want to visit. I even found a new brunch spot in my area that has quickly become a favorite. It’s also fun to upload places myself and feel like I am contributing to the friendly and supportive Pao community! I also love the curated Playlists and creative travel ideas! If you are into travel and exploring new places at all, this is the app for you!!!

I have an obsession with finding new coffee shops and thrift stores and this app helps me find places that people have been with similar styles to me and also helps me share places I’ve been with others. This app is also great to help me keep a log of where I’ve been and where I want to go, like my own little travel diary. Although I haven’t traveled anywhere outside of California, I know I have this app available with the places I saved for when I do travel so I’ll know exactly where to go to have the best experience. I think it really motivates me to try new places and explore and since I’ve downloaded this app I’ve been telling everyone I know about it becuase I want to share the excitement with them about this amazing app.
