The IRS Jovem is here. If you're eligible to benefit from the Young IRS, update the app and activate the option in 'Salary Options'. You just need to fill in your date of birth and the date of your first declared income. The app will automatically apply the exemption based on your current age and the number of years worked. If you've had any interruptions in your contribution path and had one or more years without declaring IRS, you can also indicate this in the Young IRS management so that the exemption amount is adjusted. If you've been working for over 10 years, or by the end of this year you'll be over 35 years old, then forget it, this update is not for you.

2024 Tax Return Simulator Now Available. You can now get an estimate of how much you'll owe or get back when you file your 2025 tax return for 2024 income.

Now with the ability to simulate more than one different table. Previously, whenever the app was updated with new tables, the previous ones were removed. With this update, it's now possible to simulate the values for September and October, as well as for November and December. This also allows the 2024 tables to remain available for a few more weeks when the 2025 tables are released at the end of the year. Fixed a bug that caused the selection of two income holders to remain in memory when the marital status was changed to single and then back to married. Note: The Madeira regional government has not yet released the November and December 2024 tables.
