I love this build a bear app. To be honest, the later levels were a bit difficult for a child. But the earlier ones would be perfect for smaller kids. Also love there’s no ads which is great. I used to miss the old Bearville app because of the variety but this bubble popper is fun too.

I appreciate that this app has no in-app purchases, it doesn’t make you wait a few minutes for you to retry a level if you haven’t invested in any of the premium in-game currency. And thank goodness it doesn’t make you wait, because you’re going to have to retry levels a LOT. The order of the bubbles is so random that advancing through more complicated levels is purely at the mercy of the order in which your bubbles show up. I had to step away from level 66 and write this review before I got too infuriated at my poodle avatar crying after I failed the level for the millionth time. If kids are expected to play this, I’m sure they’ll get too frustrated at a certain point and give up and play something else. On level 66 I’m given 17 bubbles to complete the level, and I can barely get through the first barrier of bubbles before I’m out and have to restart again. I probably sound pretty lame complaining that a bubble popping game is too hard, but I’d like to continue playing because I love BAB. I’ve still got the ‘stuff fur stuff’ rewards card tucked into my wallet, and still visit the shop regularly. I appreciate the company branching out and trying new things, I think this app along with the plush they released alongside it are a great idea, the game just needs some work. Oh, and I will totally buy Poodella if you make her into a real plush, my first bear as a kid was a pink poodle, I’d love to add another pink poodle to my collection.

build-a-bear, i love you, i work for you, and i’m excited to see what kabu is going to do for the workshop! i love that this app doesn’t have lives or in-app purchases because it’s aimed at kids, and i like the “scanning in” feature for furry friends (though i haven’t gotten to test it yet), but geez, i wish the gameplay felt more fair. the color of ball you get is so randomized that rather than relying on skill or strategy to win, i find myself simply hoping that the next ball is a color i have on the screen/can get to! i got this app to try it out so i could tell customers about it, but i don’t know that i’ll be recommending it to them—if i, an adult, am getting stuck on level 11 for several rounds because i keep getting balls that i can’t do anything with, i can’t imagine how hard and disheartening it’ll be for a kid!i’m excited about the brand, i just hope you will balance the game.

I love this game and the simplicity of it but some levels need a few more bubbles to complete, Bc right now they are too hard. That said, there needs to be more levels!!! I beat all 100 in a week!! Keep developing this game!
