The Bushnell Equinox Z2 App provides a live stream digital image directly to your device. This application is intended to be used with the Bushnell Equinox Z2 Night Vision Monocular. View your target through the Monocular while your buddy shares in the experience from their device. Enjoy capturing high quality images through the app for large scale viewing via the gallery from your phone or tablet.
All of the many functions and features on the Equinox Z2 can be applied via this app, including:

Won’t connect to Equinox Z2.
This app has not been updated in 3 years and will not connect to the Bushnell Equinox z2 on new versions of iOS. Works great on iPhone 6s running iOS 12.4. Won’t work at all on my new iPhone 12.
Works well for me
Like other reviewers I note the app hasn’t been updated in 4 years. However unlike everyone else I was able to get it to connect on a modern iPhone (13) with a current iOS (16.5.1(c)). Indeed I had no problems at all. I downloaded the app, and turned on WiFi on the Equinox Z2. The first thing I did was to go to Settings and connect to the Equinox Z2 WiFi SSID, providing the password of course. Only after that did I try to open the app. The app wanted me to connect to the device, and boom I was in. Obviously many others are having problems, dunno why. All I can suggest is to make sure you do your WiFi connection to the iPhone first in Settings, *prior to* launching the app second. I hope that helps others.
No instructions but eventually got it to work after 10 minutes
After downloading the app and setting up wifi on the z2 clicking on the app to pair won’t do anything,
first you have to go to settings in ipad
go to wifi and use z2 for your wifi,
pair up with password bushnell, then you go back to the app and tap on it and it will pair up
