HamTesterTechnician, was written for the individual who is studying to take the FCC Amateur Radio Technician Class Examination. This application will generate unlimited examinations for you to take to prepare you for your actual testing session. "It is important to realize that to prepare someone to take an exam, you need to do more than just present a question pool. It is more than just questions/answers, statistics etc. It requires a mental preparation also. I created the HamTester series Technician, General and Extra to be as close to a real FCC exam session as I could, to prepare the student for more than just a list of questions." - Gene Backlin And Gene should know. Since 2000, Gene has been a Volunteer Examiner(VE) and has presided over 150 examination sessions. He has seen what it takes to pass, as well as mentored and encouraged/tutored those who have not. Helpful but not really

Some of the answers….. are not correct meaningWhen comparing to the ARRL books answers….. i am being told my answer in the app is incorrect, when in fact, it is correct ( referencing the books question and answer ) section. So this app is very misleading and I am sad i paid for it. This phenomenon was found often and led me to believe i was not retaining weeks of studying. Fix the issue

Hello and I apologize for the errant questions. The best way to get the errant questions corrected is to contact me directly from the link within the AppStore and let me know what question(s) are at error. There are over 400 questions in the Technician question pool, each having 4 answers, which comes down to 1600 entries. Please note also that the question pool for the Technician class was updated July 1, 2022, which enables you to a free upgrade as all HamTester apps are free updates for life.
