“Very” Little Nightmares

This game is a fantastic small adaptation of our of favorite game of 2017, “Little Nightmares”. But BEWARE, the controls can be quite irritating depending on the type of gamer you can be; if you’re impatient and like to be speedy tapping left or right of the screen proves to be quite trivial, but if your’e patient and slow I doubt you’ll notice this as a problem. The puzzles are fair and are similar on the level of the original game’s difficulty of puzzle-solving, though near the end of the game some of the puzzles can be quite dubious which personally led to some frustrating moments, (specifically something involving a piano and 5 portraits).

In terms of the canonicity, without spoiling much, this seems to be completely separate from the main game. While it helps to be familiar with Tarsier’s world of Little Nightmares, there’s no need to HAVE to play the prior title to enjoy this one (though it’s HIGHLY recommended that you do)...

For actual fans, I think the game does a good job at supplementing some new theories. All in all, the game works well, the environments are well done, and as a fan of the first game you should definitely check this title out.

I didn’t even hesitate when I found out little nightmares was coming to iOS. I payed for it immediately because I trusted you guys that the game would be awesome. I wasn’t disappointed at all!! This game has a lot to reveal for players of the original Little Nightmares, if you can find all the hints that are hidden. The only complaint I have is that there are a few small bugs, but that’s to be expected since the game was only just released. And really, I think I only encountered like maybe 2 or 3. The bed that the Nomes jump on is one. If you manage to get onto the bed and then jump off and walk on the floor then the floor still makes the same noise when walking that it did when you were on the bed...does that make sense?? Also there is a rather problematic glitch that I encountered where in the second to last chase scene where you get past the electric fence, when I got to the first narrow stick to walk across. Well...the game let me make one tap to move and then froze me so I couldn’t move. Even after trying it over and over, it wasn’t until I completely exited the game and started the whole scene over that the glitch stopped and I could move on. Just thought you guys would want to know.

Fun game, glitch?

This is a fun little game. I have never played the original little nightmares so I didn’t have any background in terms of the overall story line but that isn’t needed and this story is definitely independent.

The controls can be frustrating. Wish they would have adjusted for landscape view as I think this would have elevated many of the problems.

As for the second to last level, I seem to be stuck at the crossing of the bridge with the small tree. I get half way across and fall off every time. I’ve tried to slow down, I’ve tried nonstop running, I’ve tried clicking all across the tree. Nothing seems to be working and it is quite frustrating. Not sure if this is a glitch or if I am doing something wrong.
