In Besançon, historical heritage and natural environments have been in dialogue for more than 2000 years. Come and immerse yourself in active or sporty mode in these spaces that mix nature and culture!
From the historical heart of Besançon, you will be in touch with nature and will be able to practise or start outdoor activities: canoeing on the Doubs, hiking on the GR145/Via Francigena or the paths of the hills, trail, bicycle... A little further away, a few minutes from the city: climbing and even free flight are possible! These itineraries and activities will guide you through different worlds: the Doubs valley, the Chailluz forest, the first plateau of the Jura, areas rich in heritage, cultural, landscape, fauna and flora interests.
