This review is only about the app—not the site. I deleted the app after only two days. In order to see who “viewed” my profile, it was unusable. I would receive an email indicating someone had viewed my profile, click on it end it would take me directly to a list of those who viewed my profile. After downloading the app it would go directly to the app and whatever page was last opened, and if the app was closed, it would take me to the home page which only showed me the newly joined, with the option to view all. While the help feature said go to the homepage and scroll to “views”, there was absolutely no such option on the app homepage. There is also no way to view those whom I had “liked” on the app, while on the website it was quite easy by clicking on “Messages, I would then see a feature showing me the option to view those whom I had previously liked. On neither site was I able to unlike someone I had already “liked❤️” which was unfortunate because I liked someone by mistake & broke the poor man’s heart.

This is by far the worst attempt at a matchmaking app. The site has actively removed useful features like being able to see how recently someone was active. As a result, you could be writing a message to someone who has not been online in years. They also do not even require a Mutual like for sending messages. This means that if you’re a man, you just have to read every account and write bespike messages to someone who 1) May not even have been online in years and could be married by now and 2) someone who’s entirely uninterested in hearing from you This is internet dating. You can’t read body language and gauge how open someone is to you so the Mutual like is such a basic feature that would save men from wasting time and women from being messaged by literally everybody but Catholic Match does not care to be convenient or user friendly. There’s tons of fake accounts as well so have fun trying to figure out who’s real and who’s fake. You’d be better off literally driving to different churches around the country than spending a penny on this horrible garbageEdit: they just responded with a bunch of excuses and massaged language. Absolute trash app. I hope they go out of business.

The app is okay, not great. Members who haven’t logged in for years are still listed. I had a friend get married and two years later his two profiles are still floating around and coming up in my search criteria. Terrible. More than anything else, the price point extremely expensive! Completely appropriate photos are frequently, edited and cropped, because heaven forbid someone see that you have an athletic or toned body. Cropping doesn’t even follow the thirds rule - they just hack off portions of the photo that some particular person didn’t like. My bio and info has been edited as well, and I am a rather conservative gal, so I’m not sure what warranted that. I am so bummed by this whole service. I wish there was something else out there that was more accessible and less censuring. Overall, I wish that it wasn’t so expensive!! Erg, so frustrating. Try your best to meet people in real life - or try Hinge. Jeez.

This is one of the worst dating apps that I’ve found. It doesn’t have enough settings. You can’t edit it or delete messages if you make a mistake. I wish there was a way you could only message with people in your age range. I kept kidding people that were too old messaging me. I liked profile profiles of people that were in my age range that I was interested in talking to. I tried to weed out the people that I wasn’t interested in by blocking or snoozing their profile. I wasted money on this app because I was hopeful after finding people that lived somewhat close or that I liked. I wanted to be able to message them. 90% of the people that you message just to say hi they will read it and not message you back at all. I can’t believe for a Catholic or Christian dating app how rude the people are. I expected much better of this app. I would like to see more settings in the app. People don’t join a dating app to feel like it’s a waste of their time. I wish I would’ve signed up for a different one. I honestly don’t care if somebody is Catholic as long as they believe in God. I don’t even know if I want to be Catholic.
