Bubble Translate is rewritten from scratch. Same shortcut, same bubble over your text — everything behind it is new. Why this matters if you already have it: translations now come from our own engine instead of a public translation API, so idioms and tone survive; the bubble opens faster and can open more than once at a time; and every word you look up is now remembered for you instead of disappearing into history. NEW Translate and replace. A second shortcut swaps the selected text for its translation, in place, in whatever app you're in. A small indicator near the notch shows the progress. Memorize. Words you translate go into a word base and come back as cards, timed by spaced repetition and graded by CEFR level. The app mixes in new words just above your level. iCloud sync. Translation history and your word base stay the same on all your Macs. A new translation engine. Full sentences instead of word-by-word guessing. Rebuilt interface. Native macOS 26 look, accent colour of your choice, a translator window that grows only where it needs to. CHANGED Screen and image translation is gone. The old frame-translate mode produced unreliable text and we would rather not ship a feature we can't stand behind. Requires macOS 15.6 or later. Free every day. Pro removes the limits.
