Great App for Practicing

As someone picking up the horn again after 20 years, Tonestro has been great at helping me regain my pitch and rhythm. The challenges are a good way to gauge my progress, and I’m looking forward to future updates.My one complaint is that the app doesn’t work in landscape mode on the iPad unless I’m in an actual song. I have to turn my iPad to portrait mode whenever I’m navigating to the next song in my challenge.

It really only helps with the notes themselves, it doesn’t really tell you how to set your, embouchure, or how to actually change pitch with your lips, personally I only used it for the tuner, it was helpful to see what note I was playing. Then the free trial ended, and I stopped using it completely. Overall, not a very good app.

It really only helps with the notes themselves, it doesn’t really tell you how to set your, embouchure, or how to actually change pitch with your lips, personally I only used it for the tuner, it was helpful to see what note I was playing. Then the free trial ended, and I stopped using it completely. Overall, not a very good app.
