Wish Pro Had More Features

This is great for free app. I love the design. However, I'm not interested in purchasing Pro because it doesn't have a reset feature in case you are interrupted, and it doesn't allow you to skip breaks.

I bought this app because I struggle with ADHD and love the pomodoro technique for years I've been looking for a way to bring the cute and simple tomato timer to Mac/ the digital interface. I wanted a cute design with charts and tracking and this app has given me just that. I love that you can fully customize how many pomodoros a day you strive for as well as the lengths of time of the session and breaks. Easy, useful, powerful features without doing too much. I love apps that can be found in the menu bar but sit quietly in the background. $5 for Pro is worth it just to access all of the charts. I love that I can get a daily, weekly, or monthly view though I would love to see the ability to add more data to these charts such as maybe a task name so I know what I did with my time, not just that I completed a pomdoro. Or, I like the idea of rating my productivity at the end of a pomodoro session, maybe that could be in the next update? As well as an ability to skip breaks, please!

So simple, gorgeous graphics. Its the perfect balance between no-frills, but engaging and playful that you want form a focus tool. Writing this review becuase I hope the owners reads this but I am DYING for a cross platform app. I want to collect tomatoes on my phone and my computer, I want my phone to ding after my 5 minute break. I want the phone to automatically go to work and personal mode with the timer. I want tomatoes to rule my life lol

Great timer, but notifications are broken

The timer itself works well and is highly customizable. Some other pomodoro apps don't let you adjust things like break durations and the number of pomodori in a cycle, so these features are nice to have. Unfortunately, its usefulness is kind of limited because the notifications don't work. I have to watch the icon in the menu bar like a hawk, or I'll work into the first few minutes of a break and miss when it's over.

Pomo Timer 2.0 comes with a refreshed design and a few useful new features. • A new panel under the menu bar icon, with the timer and your history in one place • Redesigned settings and a new Pro tab • Stop a rest at any time, choose when your day starts, set your work days and see weekdays on the month chart • Export your history to CSV and create your own color theme (Pro) • Launch at login now uses macOS Login Items; after the update only one Pomo Timer item remains • The end-of-phase alert has its own switch, separate from sounds • Optional anonymous usage statistics help us improve the app — you choose on first launch Pomo Timer 2.0 requires macOS 15 or later. Macs on earlier versions keep the previous version.
