Best UV exposure app I could find

… and I tried several on the App Store. The user interface is more professionally done, and not many others have sunburn and vitamin D info.

I would love a watch app! Also, it would be amazing if you could get sunburn and vitamin D info for the predicted UV index (not just the current one).

EDIT: noticed that there already is a watch app! I’ve been using it daily for the last two weeks, and it has been very smooth.

Developer Response ,

Thanks for the review! There's actually already a Sunbeam app for Apple Watch, which you should be able to download as long as you're on the latest version of watchOS. Just drop me a line if you have any problems finding it.

On your suggestion, this is something I definitely want to do, so watch this space! Glad you're enjoying the app :)

Great widget

I use Sunbeam for the widget and find it very helpful. I would like to see an option for the widget to display 12-hour time (AM/PM) instead of 24-hour time.

EDIT: Thanks to the developer for addressing this! I’ve updated my review to 5 stars :)

Developer Response ,

Thanks for your feedback! That's a great point, and as part of the next update I'll fix this so that Sunbeam can display either 12 or 24-hour time based on your system settings.

Doesn’t do what I want it to do??

I love the look and purpose of the app but when I try to click the little heart or sun burn icons with play buttons - assuming you measure your time in the sun - it doesn’t do anything. This feature would be sooo nice if it worked. Any advise?? Maybe I’m doing something wrong. Also I would love a implementation with the Apple Health app.

Developer Response ,

Hey, thanks for the review! If you click directly on the little play button and are a Pro subscriber you should be able to select your skin type, and Sunbeam will then give you an estimate of how long you you can stay in the sun before you burn. Please feel free to drop me an email using the details in-app if you're still struggling!
