Help Me Tell My Story is an early years literacy assessment and family engagement tool. It is an engaging, interactive assessment for students, as includes a set of surveys for teachers, caregivers, and Elders/community leaders. Together, the perspectives of these individuals give a holistic picture of oral language learning opportunities for each student.
Students along with a teacher use the turtle puppet Askî to interact with the iPad application to complete the assessment. The application is account driven and available to participating Saskatchewan schools.
