MOTIVATE project is funded by the Interreg-MED 2014-2020 European Program and aims to ensure the involvement of citizens in the design of Sustainable Urban Mobility through the use of social media and IT applications.
As part of the project is developed, a Mobile native application for iOS, of the unified sustainable urban mobility center of Rhodes Municipality. The mobile application provides information in real time for the current traffic conditions in the Municipality of Rhodes, performs travel planning with a combination of Public transport and car and calculates arrival times of buses at stops. The information is presented in two languages ??(Greek, English). In addition, mobile application content includes a city guide of Rhodes with 30 points of interest in Greek and English, which can be used off-line by users.
