Doesn’t Block Much..

Well this is disappointing... The app itself seems to operate okay, but it does a poor job at blocking content. I put several common explicit keywords in the block list. Then went to safari to see if it would block those words. It did, but only the word or variations of the words that I put in the block list. I typed in a few other common slang words, clicked on images, and it immediately brought up a plethora of perverse/nude images and gifs. What the heck?! I’m I supposed to type in ever filthy keyword in the dictionary to get it to block content?! The built-in Apple content blocker does a better job than this app. Keep trying.

Good Evening Apple Store,Thank you for authorizing the usage of “Blocked- porn blocking app” on iPhone devices. Recently, I shared my sincerest appreciation for this account via instagram. A month after creating a new instagram account I received illicit and tactless messages in my direct message segment. It made me extremely uncomfortable to create an account altogether because I was concerned with this occurring. Shortly after fighting these random messages with constantly deleting them whenever they appeared the “Blocked-Porn blocking” account came across my news feed. I immediately followed it in hopes of these messages from reoccurring. Thankfully, it sufficed. Please keep this application/account alive and active as it benefits the quality of its followers lives. God bless you!

A month after creating a new instagram account I received illicit and tactless messages in my direct message segment. Well, I noticed a 30 dollar charge in my bank account after forgetting to cancel my free trial with this app, my fault. But, since I was charged the steep price for one year “subscription” of this app, I wanted to get the most from it. Disappointingly, it does not accurately or efficiently block anything I enter to the block list. If anything, I have been charged 30 dollars to learn I could have been using the more efficient content blocker already programmed into my iPhone. Yet, I will keep trying to utilize this app, but be warned by this review.
Made for right reasons, bad execution.

I needed something to block bad content on my families devices and apples built in service doesn’t work well. This app works great for blocking bad content and its easy to setup and use. Also I had a problem compatibility on an old phone but the developer helped me to get it working. Overall I highly suggest downloading this app and putting it on your families devices.
