iDictionary v1.6.0 is here — a major update that puts daily learning on your Home Screen, Lock Screen, and Control Center. 1. New Random Pick widget for Home and Lock Screen: see a random character, word, or idiom. Tap Another pick to refresh instantly without opening the app. 2. Character of the Day and Idiom of the Day widgets now refresh in place — Another character and Another idiom — and stay in sync with Home for the same calendar day. At midnight, daily picks return to the date-based recommendation. 3. Home adds Another idiom, linked with the Idiom of the Day widget so you can refresh today’s idiom from either place. 4. Medium and large widgets show richer snapshots: radical, strokes, frequency, structure, word and idiom summaries, sources, near meanings, and more. Tap to open the matching detail page. 5. Dynamic Island and Lock Screen learning is now Detail continue: when you leave a character, word, or idiom detail, your current study stays visible; tap to jump back. On by default; turn off anytime in Settings. 6. On iOS 18 and later, add four Control Center tiles — Character of the Day, Idiom of the Day, Learning Glance, and Random Character — for one-swipe study. 7. iDictionary v1.5.0 Major Update This release brings lookup, daily learning, and favorites into one smoother path. Open Home to meet a new character, then browse and manage what you save in the way that fits you. 1. Home learning is fully upgraded. Learning Tools, Explore Characters, words that contain today's character, and Quick Review of pinned favorites help you learn even in a spare moment. 2. Character of the Day can be swapped for another common character. This changes Home only. Widgets still follow the calendar day. 3. Favorites now support list, grid, and card layouts, with adjustable columns. Tap Edit to multi-select, then pin or unfavorite in batches. 4. Swipe left to pin and swipe right to delete. The empty state can start a random character. Long-press a search history item to favorite it. 5. Handwriting lookup is more reliable. Pause to see candidates, undo or clear if you miss a stroke. Neat writing with closed strokes is recognized more accurately. 6. Category browsing is refreshed. See a lexicon overview, page through words and idioms by pinyin initial, and switch among list, grid, and card layouts. 7. Characters, words, and idioms can become share cards you save to Photos or send to friends. Long-press a definition to copy, speak, or translate. 8. New accent colors and alternate app icons. Widgets can follow your theme, with clearer colors in Dark Mode. 9. Optional iCloud sync for favorites, history, and pins. Items merge by entry and will not overwrite your whole library. 10.
