ABOUT KEANY PRODUCE & GOURMET:
Keany Produce and Gourmet is the largest family-owned and operated produce wholesaler on the east coast. Kevin Keany started the company in 1978 by selling produce out of a van at the Florida market in Washington, DC. We've grown to include a fleet of 175 trucks, 550 employees, and an extensive product line. We boast two state-of-the-art refrigerated facilities in Landover, MD and Richmond, VA…that’s over 100,000 square feet of fresh produce and specialty items! Keany Kuts is our in-house pre-cut facility operating 23 hours a day, 6 days a week. With over 1,100 pre-cut options to choose from, we can help cut down labor costs and save you time prepping.
We carry any fruit and vegetable imaginable, and if we don't have it now, we will get it for you with 48 hours' notice! We have the most robust local program in the area, partnering with over 40 local farmers within a 250-mile radius--anything from asparagus to cheese to honey to apples. We also carry a large dairy line, including milk, cheese, butter, yogurt, and more. Our specialty items include nuts, dried fruits, sparkling water, local maple syrup, dairy-free milk, edible microgreens and edible flowers, oils, olives, and much more.
We deliver 6 days a week, Monday-Saturday. We will work with our transportation team to make sure you have a time window that works for your staff and location.
