First of all do not do what I did! I procrastinated and then cram studied for a week! Within the week time frame I downloaded and paid for pocketprep but then it made me download fitness prep and transferred everything I’ve already studied. I must say I’m highly pleased at how well this helped me in the end. I don’t have the best study habits. I waited until the very last minute to study and I was a nervous wreck. (So again don’t procrastinate like I did!) anyway the 800 questions were a life saver. I suggest breaking them up over a months period time or even 2 weeks at max to review these questions. I looked at all of these questions in the span of 4 days. I started off horrible. By today which is the day I tested, I did exceptionally well if I may say so myself. So I went into testing prepared for the type of questions they may ask. Hard work/cram session paid off. Of course every great thing has minor issues. I focused on testing with only new questions. However, within the new set of questions, a lot of questions were the exact same as questions I’ve already answered. I don’t know if there is a reason for this but just thought I’d throw that in there. Anyway, I passed! Thanks!

This app has helped me tremendously!!!! I also had only 4 days to take me test because I found out at the last minute that my test voucher for NASM CPT was going to expire. I read and studied most of the book a few months ago but got distracted and stopped. Well I did the practice test on here and learned my weak areas and studied those areas. Today I took my test and passed on the first try!! This was a big help! Please make sure you give yourself plenty of time to study though because I don’t recommend this method to no one if you don’t have to. And the material on the test is written different so make sure you look at the explanation for each question so you know why it’s the answer and why the other options are not. That’s helps too!

Some of the exam questions were extremely close to fitness prep questions. I highly recommend this app along with listening to Dr. Rick Richey’s podcasts over and over until it finally clicks. That guy has an amazing way of delivering education. You don’t want to stop listening.

I feel like I crammed at some point because I was slacking on the amount of questions I was studying per week. But, the questions cover a great range in material. The mock exams were great at simulating the actual testing experience. The app’s beta version of the level up feature was nice, but I found myself using the app’s isolation of certain topics was a huge factor in creating confidence in my harder subjects. Missed questions are also another addition that helped ingrain the more memory based numbers. Overall, this app can be all the studying you need, but I did have a huge chunk of the education from my undergrad teaching straight from the book itself!
