For someone who has the laziest friends in the world who never agree to travel, I sure am glad I came across this app. I have been planning to go to Miami for a while now but couldn’t match my schedule with my friends’. The idea of meeting other travelers and locals and linking up with them makes me really hopeful that this trip will finally be possible for me. The fact that there are locals who can show you around and expenses can be split on this app is pretty impressive and definitely makes the trip a lot easier.

This is an awesome platform for people who love roaming around the world. I see people creating trips to go to different places and planning to do different activities like hiking, scuba diving, skiing and more. I can feel the thrill of traveling whenever I look into this app. Sometimes, even if my schedule do not allow me to travel, I look out for the upcoming trips close to me so that I can squeeze in a short trip and connect with people.

Has the feel of a dating site more than a travel site

I was excited to find a few likeminded travel buddies but this app feels more like a vacation hook-up site. I couldn’t see the app until I paid for it and after looking at the app for about 30 minutes I decided it wasn’t for me and reached out requesting to delete my account and for a refund. I am giving a one star review because they will not issue a refund and also do not let potential buyers look at the app before paying.

Hi JHoney68, thank you for your review. You can absolutely use the app without a membership. The membership gives you unlimited connections on GAFFL, but you can start trips, create local listings like & view trips, reply to messages, and do a lot more with the free version of the app.
