New iPad support and audio pitch changing!

Record videos of yourself talking as a celebrity, politician, or even a realistic painting or doll. Then save the video or share it on iMessage, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, or other social media sites.

Talkr Live's advanced 3D algorithms detect your facial movements and apply them to the photo, making you instantly more attractive and popular. OK, maybe not more popular, but you can choose to be whoever you want to be! You can also switch between multiple faces in the same photo, or between different photos in the same video.

Talkr Live works best on iPhones with a depth camera (iPhone X, XS, XR, 11, 11 Pro), but any iPhone 6S or later model will work.

In-app purchases allow you to create high resolution videos and videos without the Talkr logo. All other features are free.

It’s Cool

I love the original Talkr app. Compared to other apps (like MugLife) Talkr has a lot going for it. So I was excited to try out their new app. It’s a great idea. We don’t have too many apps that let you control mouth movement and facial expressions by using your own face. I think it could use some work though. I found the mouth movement to be a little unrealistic. It felt like it only moves up and down and doesn’t really form words right. The eyes are another one that could use some work. My eyes aren’t that small, but, for some reason, the app kept giving the pics squinty eyes. It’d be cool if the facial gestures could look more realistic and accurate, but the fact that this even works on my iPhone 7 (compared to the iPhone 10’s True Depth camera) is pretty cool. Thanks for making this app and keep up the good work.👍

Fun for creative parents

As a parent, it is rare to find an app that lets my kids explore their creativity like this one does. The app doesn’t tell them how to have fun, but it’s a blast when they can make anything they want.

Money money money! It’s all about the money!

The face detection is fine. It detects my face and pasted the expressions onto the photo. What I don’t like is that I need to pay $3.00 to make the video quality decent. Like, why even bother doing this when you can’t even recognize the face? You wanna know why? Because money is ALWAYS greater than customer enjoyment. “bUt wE nEed tO maKe a pRoFit” Shut the hell up. Payment to remove the watermark is okay. Machine learning is hard work, right? But requiring money to make GOOD QUALITY VIDEO is like you’re crossing the line and playing jump rope over it like a group of schoolgirls during lunch. It’s like you’re trying to be EA, Tom Nook, and Morgz at the same time.

Developer Response ,

We are sorry that our in-app purchases made you feel this way. Creating the app is a lot of work, and we try very hard to choose the right features to charge for. Among other things, we consider the following:

1) the app must be fun even if you don’t purchase anything (you don’t need to create videos to have fun with this app)

2) purchases must not need a “test” to see how they work. This is why we allow you to save low res videos for free. You can see exactly how we create videos and what the experience is like. You know exactly what you are getting when you buy the ability to export higher res videos.

3) purchases should always be “honest”. We list very clearly what our in-app purchases are, and how much they cost. We don’t sell subscriptions, or take part in any of the misleading marketing practices that other apps do. That’s not who we are.

I’m very glad that you liked the product enough to want to save a high res video. We are hoping that there are lots of people like you, but who are willing to spend $2.99 for the entertainment product we have created.
