Clunky and Cumbersome

The dashcam itself works well. As far as connecting to your phone, absolute pain. You’re required to have location on your iPhone which doesn’t make sense. After the latest update, it no longer connects so I’m forced to plug the SD card into my pc to pull videos. Wouldn’t buy again

I’ve read the review before installing, didn’t have much expectation. I did play around with the app before I install the dash cam in my car. Maybe that’s why I think is pretty easy to use. Just make sure the iOS is up to date and also the dash firmware is updated.

Horrible connecting, useless app

Sandman...
The whole point of the app is the connect to the device and get videos from the camera. Trying to connect is the hardest thing ever. I’ve had this for 6 months and tried to connect and get videos several times. It has only worked once and took about 10minutes of fiddling around. The wireless link doesn’t stay on or connected to the app either. If I really need a video, I suppose my only option is to get it out of the micro sd card directly.

The app take’s getting used to, also someone said turn off cellular and it works.

Fixed some bugs. When updating the firmware to a new version, please also make sure to update the app to the latest version. The app may not function properly if an older version is used.
