Wake up to professionally narrated Bible verses with beautiful background music. Start your day with Scripture, and share your morning verse with friends or family. Create multiple alarms with their own names, wake-up times, repeat days, snooze settings, and verse-pack choices. Repeating alarms stay enabled for future mornings, and the Alarms tab keeps your schedule in one place. Browse Sample, Calm, Inspired, Happy, Faithful, Motivated, and Strong in the Verse packs tab. Listen to verses, choose KJV or NIV and a male or female narrator, and enjoy Shine's familiar photography and gold design in light or dark mode. Each saved or enabled alarm chooses a recording from its selected available packs and keeps that recording for repeats. Save or re-enable an alarm to choose a recording again or apply narrator and Bible-version changes. This version uses Apple's AlarmKit and requires iOS 26 or later. Shine is free to download with a Sample pack containing verses from each of the Verse Packs. If you’d like to support Shine we have a variety of subscription options that unlock all verse packs - choose whichever price you find appropriate! Start every day with the wisdom and inspiration of God’s word! Subscriptions pricing and terms: Shine Bible Alarm offers auto-renewing yearly subscriptions for $9.99 / year, $19.99 / year, $29.99 / year and $39.99 / year, as well as a monthly subscription for $3.99 / month. All subscriptions provide unlimited access to all verse theme packs (all content) in the Shine Bible Alarm app for as long as you maintain an active subscription. Payment will be charged to the credit card connected to your iTunes account when you confirm the initial subscription purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current subscription period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, and the cost of renewal will be identified. You can manage your subscriptions and turn auto-renewal off by going to your Account Settings after the purchase. Any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription. Amazing idea/execution! Beautiful design

Thank you for making this! I was searching for a Bible Alarm clock and found this app!I’ve developed apps before so I understand why you can’t just allow the user to select any verse (that would take a ridiculous amount of work/money); however, I would be very grateful if you could include Proverbs 26:13, 14, and 15! Those would be very helpful.I will purchase all the packs this weekend one I get paid and I will be sharing this app!Beautiful UI/UX, you killed the interface, well done!

Wow, it's reviews like this that make it all worth while! Thank you so much!I will be looking to add Proverbs 26 : 13-15 in an upcoming release. I'm curious - would you like those as separate verses, or wake up with all of them at once? Also, would you not like 26 : 16 as well? We can discuss this via email at info@shinealarm.com.Thanks again for the great review!

Love it.. but one major downfall

I love this app! My mom heard it one day and asked me what app it was and she instantly downloaded it and bought the packs! Then she gave me money and forced me to buy them also haha! However I think it’s frustrating that you have to unlock your phone and open the app to snooze it. Sometimes I’m soo sleepy and I don’t wanna open it and snooze it because I’m so drowsy. Also, I wish it would work when I have my phone on vibrate like the iPhone alarm does. Sometimes I’ll forget to put it and it doesn’t ring and I’ve been late. Otherwise I love this app!! It doesn’t scare me like other apps do and I feel calm and awake.

Thanks for the feedback! we're glad you like the alarm. It's possible to snooze the alarm without unlocking your phone: just long-press on the notification and tap snooze. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to show a snooze button right away - only Apple can do that, they didn't allow third party developers that option! Regarding the vibration mode, that's a known issue that we're working hard to fix, and we'll release a fix in the near future! Update: We've just released version 2.0, which should fix any issues you've had with the alarm not ringing. This version also adds a choice of Bible translations (NIV or KJV), a volume setting, support for Dark Mode and more! I hope you enjoy Shine!

God’s word is a great way to start every morning. Improvements needed: #1: volume adjustment as alarm is sounding. The preset volume is very loud or very quiet. #2 this apps battery usage of %50 in the background during sleep. 1 minute screen time in the last 24hrs is absurd. That’s on an iPhone 13 Pro Max. Huge battery!!#3 needs more entirety of scripture. So many people are missing out on the big picture in todays social media one liner verses which can be misunderstood or misused without context.
