ΜOTIVATE - Promoting citizens’ active involvement in the development of Sustainable Travel Plans in Med Cities with Seasonal Demand
MOTIVATE project is funded by the Interreg-MED 2014-2020 European Program and aims to demonstrate and promote the adoption of specific sustainable mobility measures in Mediterranean regions with seasonal tourism demand, in order to contribute to the development and attractiveness of cities.
As part of the project is developed a bilingual application (Greek, English), compatible on iOS devices. The mobile application provides information in real time for the current traffic conditions in the Municipality of Ioannina, display parking availability data and informations on important points of interest of Municipality of Ioannina via mobile phone. Finally, it provides information on the availability of parking spaces in the user's area of interest using the GPS of user's device.
