WWOJ - OJ99.1 - is Highlands County's "Heritage" radio station. We've been a part of Central Florida for decades and part of more people's lives for decades than any other medium in the County. Our Morning Show is anchored by John Meder, a 30-year institution in town. A Rotarian, former President of the Sebring Chamber of Commerce, and valued booster of causes from the local Humane Society to the Salvation Army, John's voice has been the wake-up voice for generations of Highlands County natives. Barry Foster's news and wit make the "Good Morning Show" complete, as they have for most of the last three decades. WWOJ's local personalities make the station more than "just" Country music through the day. From local music legend Donnie Shaffer to afternoon host "OJ Scott" Maxon, WWOJ is local people sharing their favorite Country songs with local people - 24/7.
