Yes, it uses extensions, but it is safe. It doesn't use your private information in any way differently than other web sites. It uses cookies, and it uses information from your browser about the web sites you copy recipes from. So why is anyone complaining? It is so easy! I can now keep track of all my online recipes and I can even add the ones I make myself, or in collaboration with AI (ChatGPT is the most amazing chef, actually! Because he understands how ingredients interract and flavors connect, just he does with words.). I mean, yes... if you want it to copy information from web sites you go to, then it needs to plug into your browser - it ONLY views and tracks those recipe web sites on which you click the extension. If you want something that keeps track of all your web-based recipes in one place, then you need an extension. If you aren't comfortable with, I don't blame you, fellow boomers and almost boomers, but your choices are limited to printed copies in a recipe box on your counter. At least this one is free, and doesn't use your information in any way that will violate your privacy.

I adore this app. All of my recipes are here, now. Let’s see….my favorite feature is I can be in the market and suddenly spot an unexpected special. I just check the app on my phone, and make sure I pick up what I need to go with it. What would make this thing perfect would be if it would also copy the nutritional info. I always have to bring the calorie, protein, etc. counts over by hand. It would be so nice if that were included in the recipe snatch. Aside from that, I don’t know what I’d do without it.

This has become my go-to recipe app, after having used many others over the years. So easy to import recipes, and it is nice that they all link back to the original content page, so if I want to see a corresponding video, it's right there. And it is nice that it respects the copyright of the recipe by linking back to the original page. This app has so much going for it, keep up the good work!

Like a good knife or a good pan, CopyMeThat is one of my most essential kitchen tools! It is easy to use, I love the look of the pages, and the support is outstanding. I use the app every single day. Having my recipes at my fingertips, as well as having the abililty to edit the recipes as I see fit is fantastic. Keep up the good work and I will continue to spread the word!!
