Description
Auqa Temp makes it possible for you to communicate with your heat pump pool heater easily from a local WiFi network(IEEE 802.11b/g standard WiFi network), or remotely over the Internet. Auqa Temp is compatible with heat pump pool heaters that must be with WiFi module that provided by the product suppliers.
With Auqa Temp you can:
- be able to monitor the state of the heat pump pool heater, such as the available hot water volume, the current outlet water temperature, the current running mode, etc.
- be able to set the state of the heat pump pool heater, such as ON/OFF setting, target water temperature setting, mode setting, timer setting, etc.
- be informed of any failures of the heat pump pool heater.
- be provided with considerate service that the suppliers will solve any detected problems of the units in the background before you ask for assistance.
To confirm whether this app can communicate with the controller of your heat pump pool heater, please check it with your supplier.

It works but...
The app is ok-ish. It's a bit trial and error to get through the icons without text and figuring out what they do. But then again; the app is not too complex so doable. What is COMPLETELY unclear is how to use the timer. I want to turn the unit off during peak rate. I am still trying to figure out what it seems to do but it surely does not work with my local time. Maybe it uses the time of my app store account? Or GMT? It's a puzzle. The support page is a Chinese (?) video site without English. There is essentially no easy way to contact the developer. So yeah... it feels a bit flaky but for now it does most of the job I guess...
App goes offline all the time
The app itself is not bad when it works. It's very basic but that might be due to limitations with the heat pump rather than the app.
However, the app constantly loses connection with the heat pump (app says the heat pump is OFFLINE) even when the wifi modul shows that it is connected to the network and the network has internet access.
You can literally stand with your phone next to the heat pump watching that nothing changes on the pump's wifi module and nothing changes on your phone with regards to connectivity - still the app all of a sudden says the pump is offline.
It always comes back online again by itself but that might be 2 min later or not for an hour.
Pretty Good
Works most of the time. Has gone offline a couple of times and I have had to switch the heater on and off to get it to connect. Simple to control and gives you the ability to switch the heater off at peak electricity prices.
