Editing in that activity and some others is also more intuitive: clicking a note tool to change the value of a selected staff note will not leave the tool selected. Another change can affect numerous activities: a double-click in the music window will no longer bring up the Score Options unless no note tool is chosen. This allows faster clicking in the staff if you are in an activity that involves entering staff notes.

Version 7.055 fixes a bug that could affect behavior if cancelling a "practice" session in certain activities. It also includes other minor improvements. This update adds a new activity, Roman Numeral Analysis, found in the Theory column under Chord Progression. Roman numeral analysis is an important part of a music education and Practica Musica will give you lots of practice through its ability to create random new 4-part harmonic progressions. This belongs in the intermediate to advanced category, with 4 levels of difficulty plus a practice level. The update also increases the number of possible choice boxes in those activities that use multiple choice, and it sorts the names in the boxes to make it easier to find the one you want. The real-time activities in note reading and rhythm reading remain as they were, and there are minor improvements in some of the beginning activities.
