The interface for this app is circa 2010. User is still expected to perform scheduling tasks via laptop. This app is the intermediary to allow video calling. However, the app only works some of the time and without any consistency. Also, app will show as “offline”, but when you contact customer service-they will tell you they see no problems on their end and the system is online…and then direct you to contact a service rep for an onsite visit ($$). Very poor effort made to remedy situation.

I talked to support yesterday. They think everything is working properly on their end but it doesn’t work as it did when I first installed the gate. Most everything you do on the app. You have to hit the refresh button. Out of 3 Apple phones, 2 only work by hitting the refresh button. The other doesn’t work when hitting refresh button. Something has changed since the gate was installed. I really need to be able to rely on app tell me if the gate is open.

This app could not be more basic or have less integrations… doesn’t work with Alexa, Google, HomeKit, Automations, etc… Can’t set times to automatically open and close. Pong has better graphics and sizes to different phone screen sizes better.If I could give it a negative rating, I would.

Works as expected, as long as you understand the gate and app. If gate is held open by other device than the 2112 status won’t show open that’s expected since the command was not from the 2112
