Quickly calculate GSV, API60, NSV, and VCF values using the result data from a shakeout.
This app uses ASTM Table 5A (assumes glass hydrometer), ASTM Table 6A, and observed BS&W to convert GOV (Gross Observed Volume) to NSV (Net Standard Volume).
ASTM Table 5A is used to calculate the API60, which is the observed gravity standardized to 60 degrees F.
ASTM Table 6A uses API60 to calculate VCF (Volume Correction Factor), which is then used to calculate the GSV (Gross Standard Volume).
BS&W values should be entered as a percentage. It is converted to a decimal value in the calculations.
