Education
Free · Designed for iPad
The south-east corner of Adelaide city is full of rich and varied Aboriginal histories.
On this walking history journey, developed by senior Kaurna elder Aunty Barbara Wingard, we walk through history to learn about the creation of the Aboriginal flag; the Aboriginal Legal Rights Movement; the native grasses of the Adelaide Plains; the re-awakening of Kaurna language; stories of sky and sea; the politics of colonialism, and ongoing efforts to respect ancestral knowledge. We invite you to walk with us on this Aboriginal Walking History Journey.
This walking history journey was created by Dulwich Centre Foundation: www.dulwichcentre.com.au
