Great to try something different

I’ve been so exhausted by the forever chats on other dating apps so this seemed like a nice change. My one issue is that you’re able to plan dates 2-3 weeks out, yet reschedule the day of without penalty. I think it would be better to limit the scheduling to one week and also rescheduling should only be done 48hrs in advance of the planned date. Of course, things happen but I’ve had changes happen the day of twice now and we agreed on these dates 2 weeks ago.

Hi! Thank you for your review. We do have a cancel policy in place that in the case that someone reschedules within 24 hours, that user does not get their token back. Moreover, we also have other measures in place to prevent cancellations. It might also happen that due to users' and our partners' availability, it might not be possible to schedule a date within a week. However, this feedback was very useful and we will see if there are other measures we create to prevent multiple date changes. Thank you again!

Hi! Thank you for your review. We do have a cancel policy in place that in the case that someone reschedules within 24 hours, that user does not get their token back. Don’t fix what isn’t broken

Hate how they removed the option to filter for kids and distance. I don’t want kids and one of Breeze’s best features was to let save time by not seeing people that I wouldn’t match with. And in NY, 10 miles is “long distance”. Straight up 1hr30 minutes in each direction.Speaking of distance, the venues they pick have been out of the way for both my match and I. When I contacted support, they said that they do not take our location into consideration, it’s based on the availability of their venues. How come we can’t just have a second optional screen for the date filler but instead of time we pick 3 neighborhoods? That way we don’t have to go too much out of our way.That said, I love how the business model benefits from people going on dates, rather than the opposite. I love the fair algorithm, the lack of chatting, and penalizing people for not sticking to their plans. I haven’t found my person yet, but the people feel more authentic and serious when I meet them here than in other apps.

Cool Concept but be prepared to wait

I went into this app thinking it would be better than the others. The concept is cool since you agree to a date and pay up front. Definitely incentivizes people to follow through. However in my experience (3 matches in the 3 months I've been on, going thru matches daily), it still doesn't eliminate people cancelling on you(yes all three matches agreed to date then cancelled 24-48 hrs before the date and poof the match is gone). Don't get me wrong - you get the tokens back but since the policy doesn't allow refunds to your bank and only transfer them to friends (no one I know uses this app)...you're stuck until you either uninstalling or exhausting the tokens. Oh did I mention that the matches only stay in deck every 24 hrs? (so if they don't see it/not look at app regularly - its gone). Unlike other apps like Hinge/Tinder/Bumble (with their aggressively paywalled features) - thats the caveat here. Fear not! Im still swiping in hopes that one day I'll get someone who actually follows through 😂

You’re absolutely right that our concept is designed to encourage follow-through by committing upfront, but unfortunately we can’t fully eliminate cancellations: sometimes life just gets in the way. Refunds can be done according to our policy, and you can request these by contacting our support team. That said, tokens never expire and can also be shared with friends (though we understand that’s not always useful if your circle isn’t on the app yet). As for matches disappearing, we intentionally refresh every 24 hours to keep things moving and avoid clutter, but we know this can feel tough if someone doesn’t check in regularly. Your feedback about flexibility and reliability is really valuable, and we’ll pass it along to our product team as we continue improving. Considering this app is new, there’s WAY too many restrictions; i can’t message my match, UNLESS I PAY, I can’t give out my social when i cancel my date because it’s advised to talk through the app THAT WE HAVE TO PAY FOR, only getting certain amount of matches and having to wait until 7PM the next day to receive more, not being able to swipe and match with other people unless you confirm a date THAT HAS TO BE PAID FOR. I understand that this is a startup app but it wouldn’t hurt to be more flexible with the app to build more clientele, not drive them away. Have some options where in the groups, people are able to talk to one another. Or allowing 5 matches at a time and being able to converse BEFORE buying a token so that way the pair can confirm TOGETHER and INVEST at the same time. Or have a “ My Treat” feature or something. Spend less on influencer marketing and more on a simple train ad and more flexible features on the app to bring in and K E E P consumers.

We charge per date to ensure real commitment from both sides, so no ghosting, no flaking, and definitely no endless texting with someone you’ll never meet (we’ve all been there.....). You’re not just paying to date, but you’re supporting the whole experience: a thoughtfully developed app, a smart algorithm, zero ads, zero data-selling, and a platform where you only pay when it’s actually leading somewhere. Plus, we ditched subscriptions on purpose, because nobody needs another auto-renew to forget about. That said, your suggestions? Interesting. We will take them into account.
