After trying everything (mouth tape, side sleeping, tracking food/alcohol/sleep aides) I came across Koala Nap. I needed to borrow my husband’s so I could run both SnoreLab (wouldn’t run in the background on my phone) and Koala Nap. My snoring was significantly decreased. I have 3 recordings where you hear snoring and then my watch buzzing and then silence! I was getting an average score of 10 on SnoreLab now I’m a 2. Down side is it buzzes if there are other noises or others in the room however it has only woken me once. The number of minutes it tells you you’ve snored is not accurate. I counted about 4 min on Snore Lab that I snored before it buzzed but Koala Nap says I snored 0 min. Still the best thing I’ve found. I bought the year subscription.

I’m really pretty excited about Koala. It has given me a tool to deal with a life-long health issue. Before I settled on Koala, I used trial periods to experience a few snoring/sleep apnea apps. Koala fit my needs best as a tool to monitor and play back every incident of snoring through out the night. It works with the Apple Watch which will gently tap your wrist when serious snoring is detected. It’s just enough to prompt you to change position. This has happened only three or four times in the last few weeks, so it doesn’t disturb my overall sleep. It’s easy to turn Koala on when you’re ready for sleep and turn it off in the morning. It also showed me that by taping my mouth - enough to keep it from falling open - and propping my back on an incline will virtually eliminate snoring. I still have an appointment coming up with the Sleep Clinic. I’d love to avoid having to use a CPAP machine again. This gives me hope.

I've tried a few things to stop snoring but nothing ever worked well enough to make a difference until Koala Nap. It's very effective when used with an Apple Watch and simple to use. You start the app before going to sleep and lock your phone. When it detects your snoring, it sends a notification to your watch. The vibration on the watch is slight so you don't wake up but just enough to make your body feel something and you stop snoring. In the morning, you stop the app and you can see a report that shows how many times you started snoring. I've had nights when it detected snoring 50+ times and my wife never woke up. Definitely give it a try if you're looking for something to help you stop snoring.

I found this app and thought if it would work would free up my life. It has done just that. So exciting to be able to go on a road trip without having to pack a bulky CPAP. Also don’t have to look for a place that I can plug it in. I charge my watch and phone while driving so no need to pug in at night. I already have my phone and my watch so no need to grab anything else. I can travel with one small bag with a change of clothes. The app alerts mean to snoring before it affects my spouse. I love how easy it is to use and adjust. Down load the app and give it a try. You will love it.

I have been looking for a way to get rid of my CPAP. I’ve tried mouthguards tape, adjustable bed. Nothing seem to give me the freedom that I wanted.
