The iHome Powered by LifePod companion app is designed to assist caregivers with the configuration and setup of their care recipients' device, an iHome Smart Speaker powered by LifePod's proactive-voice personalized caregiving service. This app provides the functionality to setup the device's WiFi connectivity, set the local time zone, and assign a LifePod Care Recipient in a simple three-step process.
LifePod is the first proactive-voice Caregiver Service: Making those we care for happier, healthier and safer in their homes, and providing valuable data and increased peace of mind to their professional and family caregivers.
LifePod’s unique, proactive-voice service speaks to and with care recipients. LifePod follows a schedule set by a caregiver and uses words that can be personalized through its Online Portal. By speaking to care recipients, LifePod helps them follow a well-balanced care plan, whether it involves taking medicine, eating healthy foods, listening to music, or contacting a caregiver.
LifePod’s mission is to help professional and family caregivers to monitor and support those in need of care in their homes using state-of-the-art, 2-way voice interfaces. Our Virtual Caregiver services and solutions help families to care for their loved ones without being there in person and healthcare organizations to caring for their patients in their homes, providing caregivers with greater peace of mind and care recipients with ongoing support, increased independence and better health outcomes.
