Ahlsell Scanning – use your mobile phone to easily self-scan your products in Ahlsell’s stores.
The app works in a similar manner as the handheld, scanning devices in our stores. When you use your mobile phone it’s the phone´s camera being used as a scanner.
When you start your purchase, you have the possibility to enter Object id, Reference and Goods mark, which also will be shown on your invoice. There is the possibility to use several customer cards. Click on the icon on the top right on the screen to add more cards.
You have the option to scan the barcode on the shelf or the barcode directly on the product.
To complete your purchase, you simply scan a code, and you receive an ID which you show to a cashier who helps you finish your purchase. Some of our stores offer self-checkout where you can finish your purchase on your own.
You can of course use the phone for speaking while you use it as a scanner.
