CARPLAY PICKS UP WHERE YOU LEFT OFF Get back in the car and the song you were last playing is ready at the place you left it. Press Play, or tap that song, and it carries on from there; tap any other song to start it from the beginning. THE MUSIC KEEPS GOING In CarPlay, Next on the last song of a service or List now goes back to the first, and on your iPhone, big Lists keep playing round to the start as shorter ones do.

LISTS KEEP UP A downloaded List, My Favorites included, now updates by itself when songs are added, taken out or moved somewhere else: on another device, on the website or in the WorshipTeam app. An open List catches up when you come back to WorshipStand. MISSING FILES, SAID PLAINLY If a download could not save a PDF, a recording or a picture, the service or List now says which ones did not download. Tap Try again to fetch just those. OPEN A LIST IN THE WORSHIPTEAM APP Group admins with the WorshipTeam app see an edit button on a List, as on a service, which opens it there to change it. The WorshipTeam app's WorshipStand button opens the List here. CARPLAY A service or List you download shows in CarPlay as soon as its download finishes.

METRONOME Tap the metronome beside a song's tempo and it clicks along at the song's tempo and time signature: beat 1 strong, the start of each group a little softer, the other counts soft. In 6/8, 9/8 and 12/8 you can click every count or just the group starts. It plays alongside the song's recording without stopping it, follows your practice tempo, and stops when you move to another song. SYNC TO SONG With the metronome on and the song playing, tap Sync on beat 1 a few times and the click locks to the recording, staying with it when you pause, jump ahead or change the practice tempo. WorshipStand remembers it for that song; long press Sync to forget it. CARPLAY When a service has the same song twice in different keys, CarPlay now shows both, each playing its own key. TEMPO IN 6/4 Songs in 6/4 show their tempo in quarter notes, matching the metronome. YOUR NAME IN THE MENU The menu shows your name again after WorshipStand restarts.

YOUR KEYS AND VERSIONS, ON ALL YOUR DEVICES The key and version you choose for a song in a service now follow you to your other devices, even into a song that is already open. LEADER SYNC Following a leader, you keep your own key and version, and you land on the same section of the song as the leader. If WorshipStand was closed while you were following, it offers to rejoin the session. AUDIO KEEPS ITS PLACE Changing a song's key or version while it plays carries on from the same place, and a paused song stays paused. BLUETOOTH PEDALS Pedals that send arrow keys now work right away. If a pedal stopped working, set it up again in the pedal settings, and it will now be kept. CARPLAY Tabs show their names and icons: a star for Featured, a heart for My Favorites. With downloads from more than one church, each church has its own tab. Your next service is listed first, and only downloaded services appear. DOWNLOADS Services you download yourself are never removed automatically, and past services you downloaded stay on your device. Downloads stay when someone else signs in on the device. EASIER TO READ The small gap above each section label is back, and charts keep clear of the camera cutout in landscape. HELD SIDEWAYS On a phone held sideways, the sign-in screen now fits: Next moves to the password, Go signs you in, and Log In stays above the keyboard. The Services filter fits the screen and scrolls, so Apply is always within reach. SONG NO LONGER AVAILABLE A song or version that no longer exists now tells you so, instead of loading forever. If it was a version you chose yourself, one tap takes you back to the version the service uses. CLEARER MESSAGES Messages now appear in WorshipStand's own style. If a change you made to an annotation while offline can't be saved, you're told why. The same goes for an annotation from your library that can't be placed. PICTURE ANNOTATIONS Copying a picture annotation you made offline now keeps its picture.

STAY SIGNED IN You stay signed in until you tap Log out, also after a day away, and for up to 30 days with no connection. Remember Me keeps your username on the sign-in screen after you log out, and logging out of the app no longer signs you out of the website. AUTOMATIC DOWNLOADS, YOUR WAY Choose what downloads by itself in Settings › Downloads: upcoming services, My Favorites and Featured songs, or all of them. BIG LISTS OPEN AT ONCE A long List opens right away, and each song loads as you reach it. WORKS OFFLINE Annotations, color bands and multi-column charts now work without a connection. Changes you make offline are sent once you are back online. LISTS AND CHURCHES STAY IN STEP A downloaded List follows changes made on the website, and a church change made on another device is followed here too.

MY FAVORITES, IN EVERY CHURCH If you belong to more than one church, My Favorites is now the same list in each of them. SHARED FAVORITES Favorites that others share with your church, from any church, now sit together under Shared Favorites in your Lists. LOCKED SONGS A favorite that is private to another church shows with a lock, and a tap tells you why.

MY FAVORITES Tap the small heart at the top of any song to add it to My Favorites, and tap it again to take it off. My Favorites and your church's Group Favorites now sit at the top of your Lists, each marked with a heart. FAVORITES FROM YOUR CHURCH When members of your church share their favorites, open them from the "Others' Favorites" link in Lists.

THE WORSHIPSTAND LOGO, FIXED The sign-in and loading screens show the WorshipStand logo whole and centered, on iPhone and iPad. BLUETOOTH PEDALS The pedal controller you choose is remembered when you reopen the app. Pedal settings show which actions have no pedal yet, one pedal can do two actions, and scrolling with a pedal moves your song by the amount you set, never back to the top.

CAPO KEYS YOU CAN READ AT A GLANCE In a service or list, a capo song now shows the key its music sounds in, with the key its chart is written in shown small beside it. "A (G)" means G shapes with a capo on the 2nd fret, so you know what the band hears and what you play. CHANGE THE KEY OF A CAPO SONG THE EASY WAY Pick a new key for a capo song and WorshipStand lists the ways to play it, easiest first: with no capo, with a capo in familiar shapes, other shapes, or another version of the song. Choose one to see the chart and hear the audio in the new key. SAVE AS VERSION Like what you're looking at? Save as version keeps it for your church, or pick a way with Show & Save to keep it in one tap. If that chart is already saved, WorshipStand opens it instead of making a copy. PLAY ANY SONG WITH A CAPO On any song, tap Play with a capo… in the Key dialog or the gear's key list, pick the key you want to hear, and choose easy chord shapes with a capo. YOUR ANNOTATIONS, YOUR LAYER Annotations you made now follow your Personal layer, including the ones you shared with your group. The Shared layer is for other people's, and only from the people you choose. A song's annotations also wait for that song's own layer settings, so nothing flashes on screen and disappears. BLUETOOTH PEDALS Fixed: pressing a pedal to scroll could close the app. Pedals scroll and change songs as before.

PRACTICE AT YOUR OWN TEMPO Tap a song's BPM to slow the recording down or speed it up without changing its pitch. Your practice tempo is saved for that song in that service on your device, and one tap restores the original. Tap the key the same way to show the song in another key, saved just like your tempo. FULL-SCREEN CHARTS A new full-screen button hides the header and audio panel so your chart, PDF or lyrics fill the whole screen. It stays on until you turn it off, and your music keeps playing. PROJECT TO BIGGER SCREENS Lyrics and slides now fill larger TVs and projectors connected over AirPlay or a cable, instead of a small box in one corner. CLEANER ON NEWER iPHONES AND iPADS Song titles no longer cover the audio button, long titles and author names fit the header on iPad, and the drawing and notation editors sit clear of the camera area. FEATURED SONGS STAY READY Featured songs in CarPlay are kept between launches instead of downloading again each time. CHANGE KEYS FROM THE OPEN SONG Help now explains how to switch a song's version or key right from the open song, mid-rehearsal, without leaving the chart. SMALL FIXES Song lengths in CarPlay and on the lock screen are more reliable, and the app runs on an updated foundation with other small improvements.

CHROMECAST NOW WORKS ON IPHONE AND IPAD Casting from an iPhone or iPad never actually worked — the Cast button opened, found nothing, and gave no reason. It does now. Connect to a Chromecast or Google TV and send congregation-ready lyrics, images, song slides and PDF sheet music pages to the big screen while your team keeps their charts on their own devices — and they stay up for the whole service, from soundcheck to the last song. The first time you tap Cast, iOS will ask permission to find devices on your local network; that prompt is what lets the picker see your TV. DOWNLOADS THAT SHOW THEIR WORK The progress bar used to sit still for the length of each song and then jump. It now moves while a file is transferring, so a slow connection looks like slow progress instead of a frozen download.

This release is about the reading experience — most of it comes straight from what people told us in reviews. READING AND NAVIGATION Swiping between songs now responds to a normal reading-speed drag instead of demanding a quick flick, and it no longer competes with the swipe that used to pull you back off a song. Pinch the chord chart to size it, the same steps the +/- buttons use, remembered per song exactly the same way. CHORDS STAY OVER THE RIGHT WORDS On a tablet, a long chord line that wrapped could leave the chords sitting over the wrong syllables. The chart now asks for the line width that actually fits the text size on screen, so wrapped lines stay aligned — including on services you downloaded for offline use. EASIER TO READ AT A GLANCE Song lists in a service are larger and higher contrast, rows grow to fit their text instead of clipping it, and on a phone the page uses the full width instead of leaving a wide margin. A song's title now gets the header line to itself, with the writers underneath, so long titles are no longer cut short. IN THE CAR The Popular folder is now Featured, and shows the same new releases the WorshipTeam website highlights on its dashboard — staff picks first, then the latest arrivals. Each one plays with a tap. FIXES The volume slider in the audio player could not be dragged; it works again. On a service with several people listed, the "Lead this service" button no longer overlaps the last person's name. Chord charts in Help now explain the one, two and three column layouts. If your session ends while the app is open — after a password change, for example — the app now tells you instead of quietly showing older information.

This is our biggest update yet — here's everything new. PROJECT TO YOUR CONGREGATION Connect your iPhone or iPad to a TV or projector — over AirPlay or an HDMI adapter — and WorshipStand puts congregation-ready lyrics on the big screen while you keep your chart on your device. Images and PDF pages project too, page by page. It works with Leader Sync, so one leader can drive every screen at once. WORSHIPSTAND IN YOUR CAR WorshipStand now supports Apple CarPlay. Browse your downloaded services on your car's display with album art, play any downloaded song, and use true previous and next controls — plus a Popular folder of top songs to play on the road. When you're signed out or have nothing downloaded, the car display now tells you what to do instead of sitting empty. SWITCH VERSION OR KEY ON THE FLY Song settings now let you switch to any version of a song — capo arrangements and Nashville Number charts included — or transpose to any key. The chart and the audio both follow, and your choice is remembered for that song in that service, just for you. Leading a synced session? Your change moves everyone with you. MULTI-COLUMN CHORD CHARTS Display charts in one, two, or three side-by-side columns — up to two on phones, three on tablets. Sections, color bands, annotations, and section navigation all work in columns; charts open directly in your chosen layout, re-flow when you rotate, and remember your choice and font size per song and per orientation. Downloaded services display their columns offline too. PLAY TOGETHER, LIVE Leader Sync lets one person lead your whole team through a service: when the leader opens a song, scrolls the chart, or turns a PDF page, everyone following moves with them — nearly instantly when you share Wi-Fi. Any team member can lead, it works alongside Bluetooth pedals, and anyone can stop following at any time. NAVIGATE BY SECTION Move through a song verse to chorus to bridge with a foot pedal, on-screen buttons, a swipe, the Song Map, or keyboard keys. The current section stays highlighted, and normal free scrolling still works right alongside. WORKS WITH THE WORSHIPTEAM APP Practice and perform links from WorshipTeam now open directly in WorshipStand, landing on the right service even if you weren't signed in. Group admins with the WorshipTeam app installed can jump from any service straight into the WorshipTeam editor. LISTEN ANYWHERE Audio keeps playing when you switch apps or lock your phone, with full controls and album artwork on your lock screen. Stay signed in without re-entering your password. READ SONGS YOUR WAY Standard, Song Map, and Expanded arrangement views; color-coded bands for sections and dynamics; a wide selection of chart fonts set per song; plus a chord color picker, musical info display, and lyrics-only mode. DOWNLOADS AND OFFLINE Auto-download upcoming services, see storage usage, set a cache limit, and clear old downloads. Downloads keep running in the background, and offline playback is more reliable throughout. KNOW WHEN SOMETHING CHANGED When your team updates a downloaded service, a small pulsing dot appears on its downloaded icon — so you know to take a look before you're on stage. Open the service and the dot clears. SERVICES AND TEAMS See participation status at a glance and accept or decline invites in the app. Multi-event services show the correct roster, date, and time for each. MARK UP YOUR CHARTS Annotate charts with highlights, text notes, freehand drawings, and images. Add chord diagrams from a library of hundreds of fingerings, place notes on a full music staff, and share annotations with control over who sees each one. Works beautifully in dark mode. POLISH Phones now rotate to landscape. Annotations start personal-only — turn on group and shared any time in settings. Plus a Settings hub, dark mode, improved iPad layouts, hardware-keyboard support, and dozens of stability, sync, and performance fixes.
