First off… old school side scrolling fiend. Grew up with intellivision and then nintendo ES. So this was a breath of fresh air. Been playing for a few months and have enjoyed upgrades, coins, and even got a top 5 badge on an event. I have spent no money yet, and have been using nothing but the basic character. With that being said, you will play and you will grind. Some days you will kill it and others you will get terrible drops and get mollywhopped. But thats any game. You have to proceed with the idea that you will not beat this game in a few days or even weeks. This is a long haul game even in its simplicity. That is why i enjoy it so much. I dont have some over powered professional gamer killing me with a one round head shot before i even land the first time. I play the round and play the conditions. So i will say this from a classic gamers line. Find the pattern. It isn’t always consistent, but it is pretty darn close. Learn what enemy rounds do what, and where they will go. But most important, have fun. I mean come on peeps, its a game. If you dont look at it like some giant dragon to slay, but play it for fun you will have a blast. Otherwise… well thats on you. The only thing i dont care for is that some of the events you need a specific type of character to attempt the leaderboard. I am sure i will get there with patience. But i really dont like missing out on the fun. Other than that… i am totally happy with the game play.

I’ve been playing this game for about a year and I can honestly say it’s the best game I’ve ever had on my phone. If you like the play style than you couldn’t ask for anything more. The devs are always on top of any bug and fix it promptly. Sending out a message letting you know the issue and when it’s fixed giving you some gems for the inconvenience. Almost always within the same day, if not than a matter of hours.Some games if you don’t pay to play you won’t be competitive but I think I spent like 10 bucks 6 months ago and havnt spent a penny since and I’ve always been in the top 10 on the leaderboards. They balance it out to reward skill over excessive play time as well. So if you just want to hop on after work or every now and then you’ll still have a chance to place high on the leaderboard. Of course if someone spends several hundred dollars they will be ahead of you but the game is fun and if you play you’ll catch up in no time.

To start off I’ve been playing this game off and on for a long time. I love the mechanics, perks, and all around gameplay with the events and guild. However, I have uninstalled it countless times due to progress stops that require you to spend money in order to have a chance at progressing. The loot drops for weapon upgrades and hero upgrades are beyond painful to grind for as I can play all day and only manage a little handful of materials. The coins! For a game that requires you to continuously play and grind levels and events to get coins but you’re only alotted 20 energy; only letting you play 4 rounds before having to pay for energy in order to continue grinding for hours and hours on end. There needs to be an immediate increase in the drop rate for materials, weapons, and coins. It is drastically unbalanced in favor of pay to win. It’s ridiculous because at that point the game is about making the developers money rather focusing on the fan base enjoyability in playing. Which is a problem, why publish and develop a game intended for user enjoyability but cripple that main aspect by making the mechanics unbalanced for your favor, it’s pointless. The game is however dying and I’d prefer to still enjoy playing it due to developers fixing these issues, which I can more than imagine would bring a higher fan base.

This game is a lot of fun. I even made a purchase to not see the ads between some levels. It does get a lot harder if you aren’t buying packs, but the daily levels and tournament are still fun to play. However, after the latest update they kind of ruined it a bit. When watching ads to get perks and other things, it used to be a 30 second ad with a 5 second “back end” before finishing. After the latest update it’s full 60 second ads with a 15 second back end. Almost a minute and a half to get some temporary perk for that level you’re in. There are times when you get other things for watching videos and I would often do that. Now they have doubled the ad length. I’ll still play the game but I’m not watching the ads for perks anymore.They fixed the ads, back to the 30 second ads. However, the newest update actually has me playing less. Before the update the daily events had 4 difficulty levels that you could play for different rewards. Now the daily event has auto difficulty depending on your level/what world you have completed. That and the reward is one and done. No reason to play to again. So the issue is I find I’m playing less. It’s a fun game so it’s a shame.
