Healthy Menopause supports women through menopause, covering physical and mental well-being. It provides reliable, tailored information with insight and reassurance
Developed by Cambridge Digital Health for Cantab Women’s Health, Healthy Menopause aims to support women with reliable, evidence-based but unbiased advice. Supported by leading Consultant Gynaecologist Gerald Hackett and Entrepreneur Catherine Beech, the app aims to empower women to experience a positive transition through the menopause years and long, healthy years beyond.
The Healthy Menopause app is designed to provide women with information based on recommendations and research from leading health authorities. Tailored insights are intended to provide advice and reassurance that will also encourage and enable good communication with health services, where appropriate, but are not intended to replace routine medical checks or the advice of trained medical professionals.
Health and lifestyle tracking features help women meet recommended health and lifestyle targets and to gain insights into how menopause may be affecting them and how lifestyle adjustments or treatments may be showing benefit.
The app message system ensures that information received is both tailored and timely. An initial questionnaire links with health screens which allow women to view and log data concerning four key health areas e.g. bone health. These health screens highlight possible risk areas for that user, recommend healthy lifestyle options and link to recognised assessment tools.
