I downloaded the wallpaper and screensaver just to get into the holiday spirit. The town reminds me of the little shopping area I used to go to in Edina, MN so it brought up a bit of nostalgia. You really could just sit there and watch the little town and people - it's really relaxing. That said, I thought it was a wonderful app. I realized there are so many more options to download: apparenly this is part of another app (the title screen comes up for it). When the seasons change, I wouldn't mind getting more options (I don't know how often the selections change so right now for me it's more equitable just purchasing the individual ones I like rather than opting for a full subscription).

I had purchased this probably a year ago and then found it again last week. It ticks all the boxes - it's a delight to just sit and watch. Gorgeous on my 27" iMac. As with OnTheFox' review, I use my own music, but, wow, this is well done. Yes, there are some quirks, like the people inescapably moving into each other in a couple of small areas, but even that's kind of fun. The skating, the evening ambience, the Thomas Kinkade lighting warmth; this is a delight. It does keep the fan on on my MBPro, but adjusting the settings helps with that. Sincere thanks to 3planesoft for the best Christmas app for the Mac I've ever used.

This is a great screensaver. It changes scenery often and it's very relaxing, just watching the people go around the village in the snow. As a bonus, everytime you see the village clock, it has the correct time that is on your computer. Only item that is a little disappointing....sometimes the people walk into each other and they just stand there. But that is a minor issue. Really like this...will watch it even in summer....

This wallpaper and screen saver is in a category of its own. Mesmerizing, as I want to see what scene is next, as well as playful and calming. The loop is long so it does not feel like the same scene is displayed over and over again as in other applications. I very much appreciate and enjoy this application.
