แอพพลิเคชัน 2 แชะ อัตลักษณ์ เป็นโปรแกรมที่สำนักงาน กสทช. พัฒนาขึ้น เพื่อใช้สำหรับการตรวจสอบตัวตนของผู้ซื้อซิมการ์ดด้วยการตรวจสอบอัตลักษณ์ และการลงทะเบียนผู้ใช้บริการโทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่ เพื่อปกป้องผู้ใช้งานโทรศัพท์ เคลื่อนที่ให้ใช้งานได้อย่างปลอดภัย และป้องกันการปลอมแปลงการลงทะเบียน โดยมีการตรวจสอบอัตลักษณ์ ของผู้ซื้อซิมการ์ด “ก่อน” การลงทะเบียนและเปิดใช้งาน
หมายเหตุ ผู้ใช้งานต้องอนุญาตให้แอปพลิเคชันเข้าถึงข้อมูลตำแหน่งที่ตั้ง (location) ของผู้ใช้ และอนุญาตให้ใช้สำหรับผู้ที่ลงทะเบียนเป็นตัวแทนจำหน่ายกับผู้ให้บริการโทรศัพท์เคลื่อนที่ในประเทศไทยเท่านั้น
