I don’t typically review games but I love this company’s output. This particular one is basically a sampler of their other games—many of the rooms are lifted from their other games, but the puzzles have been changed and shortened. They’re just long enough to get your brain moving, but short enough to be completed in 15 minutes.If you’ve never played anything from Glitch, I’d actually suggest playing the first room or two of this, and then if you like it switch to their full size games. Their games are spooky and quirky and have cute running gags—experiencing those in full and coming back here to play the “remixed” versions feels like the best way to do it.I hope they release more level packs soon!

I have to say, I don’t typically leave reviews for games, however this one was quite exciting. It’s very fun and not SUPER difficult, however the parts that were are just a fun challenge. It’s a creative puzzle/escape game that I thoroughly enjoyed, especially being able to play the first three levels for free!The reason for the 4/5 stars, is because the only “issue” I had was that after the first room, the items you can interact with are highlighted with sparkles of some sort (I’m not sure if there’s a way to disable that but if so, that’s my own fault for not realizing.) I feel as though it takes a bit away from the challenge that’s there, but I can see how it is helpful to those that may be just starting off with escape related games. ————————————————————————After reading other reviews I felt as though this game truly deserved recognition for the hard work/time put into it. The complaints I read seemed to come from user error (which is why there’s a walkthrough!) and from people complaining they had to pay for following levels. The levels are inexpensive and a slight way to give back to the creators for that time and dedication they put in to give us these games. Thank you again, I truly enjoyed this game and will definitely be purchasing the following levels soon!

I love all the Glitch games I’ve played so far. Absolutely love this variety pack game because you get your Glitch fix without committing to a long term game. I’m only gearing up to play Veritas lol after completing Forever Lost I was so pleased to find this variety pack game. There are a few that are pretty easy, but I’ve gotten so used to the layout and gameplay with Glitch games that I can breeze through the easy ones in 10-15 min. The hard ones are challenging enough and I was surprised to see how complex the bunker one is. Haven’t finished that one yet. I love all the Easter eggs and the connections with the other games. The jokes are also very funny and sarcastic which I love. I’m on the third pack and just finished the toy room one. That was definitely a fave. Very fun. I would have given 5 stars, but for some reason all my progress is lost. All the way up till the temple one, the games would say “complete” and then stopped saving my progress. I opened the app this morning and none of the games say “complete”. Not that I’ve lost anything, but it was nice to see my progress. I hope the developer sees this. Anyways, thanks Glitch Games! Please keep making more games. I’m trying to not speed through all of them so that I’m not waiting around for the next one lol.

I think the first Glitch Game I played was All That Remains, and I quickly learned that if a game was from Glitch, I should automatically download it because their games are incredible. Great Escapes is not an exception, it’s an excellent way to introduce yourself to Glitch Games and the kind of quality you can expect in other games, it’s almost like a little sampler platter. I had fun playing the different chapters and I can only hope that they're working on some more games for us because I am addicted to their style of interactive adventure game play. I also appreciate the humor they sprinkle into the games, it never fails to amuse me. Thank you, Glitch Games! You’re the best!
