Any PNG images you add are now stored in their native format, meaning they retain any transparent elements - perfect for adding stickers to your planner pages! Please note that this will only work for new images added since this update (unfortunately already added images were already converted to JPEG, so cannot now be changed), so if you have any existing pages you'd like to apply this to please delete the old image (long press on it to bring up the delete dialog, then confirm), then simply add it again. This release also fixes a rare-occuring bug that could cause data to be copied between pages in special circumstances.

For this release we made importing / exporting your data much faster - about a ~10-20x speedup from previous versions! This should be especially helpful for users who like to include many photos inside their pages. We hope you will find it much more efficient to backup now, helping to keep your memories safer. We also quashed two bugs too: - Fixed an issue where the screen could get stuck in a zoomed-in position if transitioning from portrait to landscape mode whilst on the Settings page before returning to main app window - Fix an issue where the screen may not get properly locked in the fully zoomed-out view in landscape mode after going to the Settings page and back Thanks for your continuing support, and hope you like the update!

Version 2 of Pencil Calendar Pro is here! It includes 2 massive updates: 1) We now have a portrait mode! You asked for it, and now it's here. Pencil Calendar Pro supports you however you prefer to work. 2) We made big usability improvements for users without an Apple Pencil who draw with their fingers. Now zooming and panning is always enabled even when in finger drawing mode, you just simply need to use two fingers to zoom/pan, or one finger if you want to draw. No more need to constantly switch back-and-forth to the settings page! For Apple Pencil users we still recommend to disable finger drawing though, then you can still pan with just one finger, and also additionally swipe to change pages when in landscape orientation. Minor fix to Settings page.

Two minor updates: 1) Fix a rare, minor issue that could cause undo history to become modified during data import 2) Resize the date buttons on the weekly pages to help prevent against accidental tapping

We have a major update for you today, adding one of our most requested features: you can now import/export all data from the app to create backups! Data can be saved to AirDrop, Files, Mail, iCloud, DropBox, Google Drive, OneDrive or any other service that supports data sharing. Enjoy!

Minor performance improvements.

We upgraded the helpful 'dot' under the days and weeks in the monthly pages, and days in the weekly pages. Previously it appeared to show when any of your pencil drawings/notes were present in those pages. But now with the recent addition of the ability to add photos/images into any page, this dot will also show up if you have any photos saved in the associated page, making it even easier to see which pages you have any type of notes in.

You can now add photos to your calendar! - Tap the photo icon near the top-right hand corner of the navigation bar to choose an image from your Photo Library - You can drag the image around the screen, pinch to zoom-in, or rotate to change the image orientation - To delete any image press and hold for a couple of seconds on the image you want to delete, then confirm via the dialog

We added a set of colorful new icons, one to match each of the calendar themes! You can enable this via the Settings page, then the icon will automatically update to match your theme - which one will you choose?!
