Here are the application uses:
1. Display device status during normal operation.

Set date and time
If you are having trouble connecting the Wi-Fi, make sure the date and time is set correctly on the inverter. This is a major omission in the setup directions for both the inverter and the app. It took hours of troubleshooting before stumbling across this priceless piece of information on the Internet, and then within a minute, all of our problems were solved.
IFTTT
I had some issues connecting to WiFi but after connecting it works just fine.
It would be a major step if I can connect it to my smart home devices. Meaning if I can get some information out of the app. Like integrating with IFTTT.
