Easy-to-use app and helpful support
Karmelapple77
I wanted a GUI to make seeing the contents of my redis instance a little easier to use. I tried Red and it worked great. But then a few months later, it wasn't working. I investigated, and my Redis provider had unexpectedly changed some settings related to TLS. I knew it wasn't Red's fault, but I contacted the author of Red to see if there was anything that could be changed with the app. After a few days, I got a new version that addressed the change my provider made! Thanks Echodot!
I like it! But it crashes when connecting to redislab cloud
leeeeoooooon
Very cool way to interact with redis. But some connections crash the app, for example if I try to connect to redislab's cloud service it'll crash even though the 'test connection' passes. Most other connectiosn I try work fine though.

Pretty good

Overall a good app -a few things that would give this thing 5-stars and I'd pay more for:1. Better viewing of strings that are larger - too much effort toget a full dump of what's under a key2. Auto refresh doesn't work reliably
Solid even during heavy usage

We use redis for among other things a queueing system for thousands of jobs per hour. Red 2 handles it all gracefully. The app is supported with quick responses and valuable assitance.
• Redis command autocomplete updated for Redis 8 — 430 commands (up from ~200), including hash-field TTLs (HEXPIRE…), HGETDEL/HGETEX/HSETEX, LMPOP/ZMPOP, GETEX/GETDEL, COPY, FUNCTION, and vector sets, with current syntax and documentation
• TTL/Expirations are now preserved on import/export
• Pub/Sub now authenticates on password-protected servers
• Fixes potential issue where edited binary values could get corrupted
• ACL: saving a user now retains its channel permissions
• Fixes issue when drag-reordering a favorite
• Eliminates multiple crashes
• Fixes stuck "Loading" state when refreshing key list after an export
• Server Info graph now renders properly on latest OS
• Closed windows now release memory properly
