Ping Notification Sound Support Misc Bug Fixes

Pinged puts law enforcement location returns on a live map the moment they arrive — built for law enforcement running exigent-circumstance and court-ordered phone tracking. Version 2.0 is a complete redesign of the app trusted by agencies since 2020, rebuilt around one idea: when a ping lands, the person watching should understand it in seconds, not minutes. THE LIVE MAP Every ping plots instantly as an accuracy circle — honest about what carrier data really is. Radii render true to size, movement shows as a trail of returns, and dense timelines automatically switch to a density view so thousands of pings stay readable. Multiple devices track side by side with per-device colors. TIMELINE PLAYBACK Scrub or replay any window of a device's history. Watch movement unfold on the map with speed and heading computed between returns, saved places pinned for context, and a histogram showing when pings actually arrived. PATTERN OF LIFE Pinged computes the pattern automatically: overnight location, work/daytime location, significant places ranked by dwell time, best-time-to-find windows, and typical movement between them — each with a confidence rating. New-area anomalies surface the moment a device breaks routine. GEOFENCES & PROXIMITY ALERTS Draw a zone in seconds — circle or rectangle, typed radius or drag handles. Enter/exit alerts are evaluated server-side against the full accuracy area of each ping, so a 2 km return that overlaps your fence counts. Mark a saved place for proximity alerts and the whole team knows when the device is near. BUILT FOR THE TEAM Invite teammates to a device with manager-controlled permissions. Share your own live location with the team during an operation, on your terms and your update frequency. Everyone sees the same picture at the same moment — new pings push to every phone in real time. ALERTS THAT RESPECT THE SHIFT Per-device alert controls with distinct notification sounds for new pings, geofence events, proximity hits, and offline transitions — you know what happened without looking. Quiet hours suppress routine pushes overnight in your own timezone; proximity alerts still break through. POINTS OF INTEREST Save addresses that matter — with photos, notes, and custom icons — and see them on the map and timeline. Link a POI to a geofence or proximity alert in one tap. FAST IN THE FIELD Pinged opens to your map instantly, syncs deltas over a live connection instead of refetching, and keeps working through spotty coverage. Devices you hide stay armed for alerts but off your map until you need them. DATA HANDLING Built for CJIS-aligned operations: location data is encrypted in transit and at rest, notifications carry minimal content, and access requires your authorized account. Pinged is intended for use by law enforcement and authorized personnel with appropriate legal process. A Pinged account is required. Premium unlocks unlimited ping history and multi-device missions — free accounts see the first 48 hours of each ping.
