Live Alarm needs background location permission so it can provide accurate geolocation to first responders during urgent or emergency situations. Background location updates may be turned off in the application’s main menu based on user need.

What is Live Alarm?
Live Alarm is a mobile and web application developed by Lifeline Applications to help you respond to dangerous situations faster, safer, and smarter. By drawing on years of real world experience in high risk environments, we designed a first responder app to help you solve many of the problems faced in navigating communication, coordination, and situational awareness. Live Alarm may be used as a search and rescue app to help find missing persons. It may also be used to help coordinate firefighter response, EMS ambulance calls, as well as a patrol app.
How does it work?
You create and manage events from a mobile device or computer web browser. You can also share events with other organizations that use Live Alarm. This is made easy through a simple and flexible event management interface. You can include other law enforcement agencies, fire departments, or ambulances. Create a common understanding of the situation through chat, file, photo and video sharing. Coordinate and maintain situational awareness through a live, editable map. This lets you increase safety, reduce risk, and even save lives. Live Alarm is a first responder app that can be used in a variety of different ways, including as a patrol app, and a search and rescue app.
