RightSpot helps Schools ensure that during the dismissal process everyone knows where a student should go. No need for post-it notes or calls. Dismissal time at school has a lot of variables. Every day who should be on the bus is effected by who's absent, parent's requesting pick up, who needs an alternate bus stop on certain days, who will be in an after school program., etc. Right Spot integrates key information from your Student Information System with transportation data to ensure that bus checkers/attendants and after school activity leaders have current up-to-date rosters that automatically adjust to last minute changes. RightSpot's key features include: • Easy, intuitive way to manage and communicate daily or recurring exceptions • Manage after school activities and accurately reflect their impact on transportation • Handle early dismissals and special events with ease • GPS integration provides real-time status of buses and automatically re-calculates arrival times at stops • Dismissal reports and stickers to support your process • Audit reporting to respond to questions regarding buses or students RightSpot Tablet provides Bus Checkers & Attendants an easy way to check students on/off the bus in the field. RightSpot provides key information such as who is allowed to walk home from the bus or who are the authorised persons that can meet the student. Students with RFID cards can check on/off the bus themselves with RightSpot's RFID solution integration. Either way, date/time and locations are automatically logged to ensure that all students are accounted for. RightSpot for Parents enables parents to use a mobile application to get up-to-date information on delays or changes to bus schedules and confirms where their child is. Parents no longer need to contact the school for this information.

Can’t track the bus

Sometime the app be off it’ll say that the bus is early and then the bus will end up coming later than it’s supposed to. There’s no way to see where the bus is at on the map

Doesn’t really give real time updates

In the beginning the app worked perfectly fine I was able to see the bus on the map and saw as it moved towards each pick up. But lately maybe the past 3 months or so it’ll say the bus is delayed by 43 mins then magically the bus is early by a minute. I thought it was my WiFi or my phone but it wasn’t all devices showed the same thing. It stresses me out because I think my son either has enough time to do something or has to rush out the building. He’s missed the bus sometimes because of this. Bad enough the driver doesn’t wait regardless if a student is approaching or not.
