Poor interface design

This is such a frustrating app to use. It does work, but it doesn’t really let you know that it is working and has successfully paired to your charger. Even after it has paired, the most prominent button is one to pair the device, and it still shows “Let’s get you connected” and “Get Started” as the screen that pops up if you re-open the app.

Can’t control the charger

The app pairs the charger with my phone, then the connection just drops, even though I’m getting full Wi-Fi signals and am standing three feet from the charger. Stupid! Can’t make any changes to the charger settings, such as the most important deal of raising the allowable amperage to 48 amps. Nuts!

Sort of talks to the Charge Station

Good: the app allows you to pair with the charge station and incorporate the charger into your FordPass app.
Bad: the app gives spinning pinwheel of death and freezes when you go to the ‘about’ tab.
