Okay, let me start off by saying, I LOVE this app. However, I do have a few issues. I've been using this app for months now, and I love that it's free and that, for the most part, it has no ads. But, my biggest issue is that it doesn’t keep my place, and I can’t import text. For example, if I wanted to read something off AO3, I can't import it into the app. Additionally, it will no longer let me select all; I have to manually copy everything and then paste it into the app. And then, I can't pause it because it will keep repeating the same thing over again. You can't fast forward or back up; it's just, in general, very buggy.

When I first started using the app, I was really hopeful. Fantastic voice customization… And seemed to work so good. I’ve used the number of Text to Speech apps that all have a problem with large pieces of text. I am a writer and like to have something read back my writing to me. Sometimes I want to read something that’s 150,000 characters for instance. I haven’t found an app that would read that much at once but breaking it into 50,000 character chunks works for most things. The first two chunks I played the app we’re perfect. No problem. But when I made a 70,000 character chunk, it kept continually re-reading the same sentences over and over again. It would get stuck on a sentence and read it five or six times and then read the next sentence five or six times and then read the next sentence five or six times and then read the next sentence five or six times and then read the next…. Not sure what’s wrong here, but I sure wish they would fix it. It’s surprisingly hard to find an app that simply reads text.

I love this app option to a adjust the voice of the speaker and pitch of it plus how fast they read it. The only down side is that you have to cut and paste the text you want it to read from an outside source, not able to add books from google docs or from phone bookshelf’s. But still better then the app voice reader, less ads.

This is the EXACT app I was looking for. Listen, to put it plainly I read ALOT of fan fictions. Ao3 wattpad Quotetv fiction pad. You name it, I’ve most likely read from it. However I have absolutely no time to sit there and read it. I just got this app today and I’m in LOVE. For fellow fan readers as my self. We prefer to copy paste it to a box where we can hear clearly, chose what parts to hear, and not get half of the story because the scanner “didn’t detect any more text” and the best part is it’s free. Yes it may have ads every few times you pause, but they last 5 secs so personally I don't mind. In conclusion get the app. ;)
